Summer Inspiration

This summer I am really enjoying flirty, fun, and bohemian looks. My most recent purchase was a new bathing suit. Like most members of the female sex bathing suit shopping is a dreaded experience. Personally, I would rather avoid the experience as long as possible. The bathing suit I bought is one that helps accentuate an hour glass figure. Although, I don't usually like one-pieces, I couldn't resist buying this one.

I absolutely love the color and how the ruching across the stomach doesn't show bump, if one has a bit of a stomach. I was reading the June Vogue and one trend they suggested for the summer was to use a blazer as an unconventional beach cover-up. I can really see this dress looking really good white a nice white blazer. Even as I write this I can imagine seeing this dress in an editorial with the white blazer and a big white necklace.

Florals have been really appealing to me lately...strange because it isn't generally my favorite pattern.

Love Love Love

The Chanel Resort 2011 collection is to die for. The clothes screamed jetsetter and made me want to jump on a plane and fly to an island in the Caribbean. The dresses were perfect for lounging around on a towel, walking along the beach, or sipping a drink at the pool.
These were my favorites from the Chanel Resort 2011 Collection. Of course, it is Chanel so everything is pretty much amazing.

Happy Earth Day

Happy Earth Day everyone. I understand that earth day is important because it gives people a reason to educate others about the importance of taking care of the earth. However, with the threat of global warming, shouldn't everyday be Earth Day? We need to take little steps each day to making the way we live better for the earth. What do you do to help the environment?

Spring is in the air...well at least it should be. It is 40 degrees and rainy here and I am really craving some sun. I found this amazing online store called Ruche and I have completely fallen in love with it and the indie, eclectic feel of it. I have been searching for a pair of oxfords forever and I bought a pair from H&M and they were really uncomfortable. I am ready to shell out the big bucks to get a nice pair and I have fallen completely in love
with these shoes.



















These floral shoes really bring out my girly side. The contrast between the floral print and the red stripes on the inside really make the shoes unique along with the cute scalloped piping on the shoes.
With these shoes I would either wear a pair of tights and a skirt or dress, but I think they would look really great with a pair of jeans or pants rolled up a little bit. If I were wearing a skirt I would wear something short and high waisted.


Because the shoes are so detailed and are the main part of the outfit I wanted to keep everything else really simple, which is why I went for a simple tee. Worn with a high waisted skirt and a long cardigan, as well as a long necklace, the outfit would be so cute. With the cuffed pants the otufit becomes a lot more casual.

To complete my perfect spring outfit is this fabulously vintage bag that I have a huge bag crush on.
